It features an 18.5 inch cylinder-bore barrel, a Mil-Std style 870 receiver milled from solid steel, and a Magpul flat dark earth stock to keep the rifle stable and comfortable during repeated use. An XS ghost ring sight rail with a removable white bead front sight supports quick target acquisition, and the Picatinny-style rail allows you to mount an optic if desired.

I sold my 20 year old...
I sold my 20 year old Remington 870 when I bought a Mossberg 590 Blackwater. Since I had hunted with an 870 since the 1960's, I never could get used to the Mossberg with the different location of the safety. I sold the Mossberg and purchased this upgraded 870 Tactical. It's a beautiful and badass looking shotgun in the FDE color, and I am very happy to get back to the gun I grew up with. A little more expensive than a standard 870, but worth it in my view for the ruggedness, and home defense. Very happy with my purchase, and of course BUD'S GUNSHOP had the best price. Thanks Bud!

Nice gun all around!...
Nice gun all around! Weight is perfect, and its well balanced. Action is smooth, and the grip and for-end are ergonomic and quite comfortable. The stock manages the 12g recoil very well, and has the ability to be adjusted to the size of the shooter. The price is a bit high... but you could say that of any newly purchased gun nowdays.
