The UTAS ORTHOS XR-12 PRO is a magazine-fed 12 Gauge semi-automatic tactical shotgun designed for rapid follow-up shots and flexible ammunition management. Its dual 7-round magazines provide a 14+1 capacity with automatic alternating or selectable feed. The 18.5-inch barrel and compact receiver layout support maneuverability, while the polymer receiver incorporates a spring-loaded shell feeding device. A three-lug rotary bolt head machined from heat-treated 4140 steel provides secure lockup. The shotgun also features snap-open loading ports, retractable magazine followers, a fiber-reinforced slip-up stock and shell funnel, a one-inch recoil pad, quick-detach sling mounting points, and tool-less field stripping. An integrated top-mounted Picatinny rail accommodates compatible sights or optics.
