The Winchester SXP Long Beard is a purpose-built 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun designed for turkey hunting and precise patterning. Its 24-inch barrel is chambered for 3 1/2-inch shotshells and comes equipped with an extended Extra Full Invector-Plus turkey choke tube. TruGlo fiber optic sights provide a bright aiming reference, while the drilled-and-tapped alloy receiver allows installation of an optic. The Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camouflage finish covers the synthetic pistol grip stock and metalwork for effective field concealment. Two interchangeable combs and adjustable height spacers help tailor the stock for a consistent cheek weld and eye-to-sight alignment.

After hunting with a good friend who had this shotgun and seeing how it performed I said I wanted one! I was not disappointed either! The smoothness of the action was absolutely incredible. I needed the Long beard version with the pistol grip because of a fused wrist from an accident. I am able to grip a shotgun with confidence now. I was presently surprised at the recoil from the 3.5" ammo, it was very tolerable. At 30 yards the pattern with Winchester Longbeard 3.5" XR ammo was impressive. I highly recommend this shotgun to any novice or seasoned turkey hunter!
