Ready for wet and rugged use, the Winchester SXP Shadow Marine Defender 20 Gauge pump shotgun is built for harsh environments with hard-chrome protection on major exterior surfaces plus a hard-chrome-plated bore and chamber. It features an Invector-Plus interchangeable choke system for versatile field use, and a crossbolt safety designed for easy operation even with gloves.

I'd been all over...
I'd been all over Google and youtube shopping for a home defense shotgun for my wife. Of all the great choices out there, this 20 gauge SXP was a winner with her. I'm am more than satisfied with the choice I made. It handled smoothly through four boxes of ammo without a misfeed or jam. She actually enjoyed herself because it was so smooth to rack and sight her target and produce excellent patterns with # 6 & 8 & 3 buck. The best part of the experience was that she left the range with the confidence that she could use it for its intended purpose without reservation. Maybe one day I'll sneak the 12 gauge model in the truck to see how she does with that. Great HD shotgun for an exceptionally reasonable price - thanks to Buds.
