Product Overview
The Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon 1 Sporting is a 12 Gauge over-under shotgun designed for sporting clays and other target disciplines. Its low-profile, positive-locking action keeps the shooter’s hands close to the bore axis for a natural and consistent pointing experience. The 30-inch barrels provide a smooth swing and controlled handling, while the single selective trigger and automatic ejectors support efficient operation between shots. A scroll-engraved receiver and wood stock give this shotgun a refined sporting appearance, and the 3-inch chambers accommodate a broad range of suitable target and field loads.

The Beretta was as...
The Beretta was as described and I couldn't be more pleased they did a little price matching . I could have got it a little cheaper if credit card price and cash price where the same like at some of there competitors like at grabagun all and all good experience going to purchase another firearm but price is less at competitors if buds don't price match me.

I have shot the 686...
I have shot the 686 one time. I have sent it off for the installation of a bump buster recoil reduction system. Only shoot it one and not having the gun fitted to LOP etc., I can't comment on what I actually think of it. The Berettas have a great reputation however I have always bought Browning O/Us. The wood on the Beretta is not nearly as good as my Browing. I have a 20 ga 725 and love it. I would have purchased the 725 Sporting 12 ga but Buds didn't have it at the time. I'm not crazy about the Browning porting but I can live with it. I just wanted to try the Beretta. The Browning 725 is a bit higher in price but worth every penny with all extras included. Keep MDA wish I had waited but the Beretta I think will be fine after I spend another 1000 bucks on it. Get the Browning in my opinion at this point. As far as Buds I have purchased well over 10,000 dollars from them on various firearms. Overall they are good. Just don't buy near a long holiday as you will wait a long time in my opinion getting it shipped. Their heart is in the right place but I think but they could learn a lesson from from Midway USA. You order and they bust their ass to ship the product in a hurry. Buds 3 to 7 days I think as a consumer is a crock. It's closer to 7 and if you order on or near a holiday then 7 days will turn into weeks. If I didn't want my toy in a hurry I wouldn't buy the damn thing. I will continue to buy from Buds. Shipping Sucks! Prices are competitive or better.

today 11/12/17 I took silver pigeon to the range, I did 8 rounds of skeet... oh boy... I had them all, my first Beretta, I got rid of Browning 725, not saying its a bad gun, not for me, did ton of work on that, never fit me well, 686 sporting was great out of the box... its like its was made for me, we have few guys in me gun club with brownings, the most popular gun based on my observation, I was shooting Benelli U 828... great gun... but its hunting shotgun I filed the difference, as of today very pleased with silver pigeon... very impressed .... loved it
