The Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting is a competition-focused 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun designed for fast, consistent target shooting. Its Blink gas operating system supports rapid cycling, while the Kick-Off recoil reduction system and Micro-Core recoil pad help lessen felt recoil during extended sessions. The 28-inch cold-hammer-forged vent-rib barrel uses Beretta’s Optima-Choke HP system and is supplied with three chokes for adapting patterns to different sporting-target presentations. A blue anodized aluminum alloy receiver, walnut stock, balance cap, and dual-bead sights complete the purpose-built sporting configuration.

Excellent right out...
Excellent right out the box. Shot 250 rounds each of the several times at the range since purchased. Fit & finish are very good. Performance is perfect with 1 1/8 oz. No problem with box of 1oz either. The 28" seems a perfect length (been shooting sxs 30") KO system is as advertised. The color looks better in person then pics show.
