this is my 7th gun...
this is my 7th gun from bud's and as always my order was professionally handled. i chose this can because i could not find a single negative review on it . upon cleaning and assembling i tested it for function before firing it and it quite literally fails to feed over 90 per cent of the time. it doesn't matter the brand or length of the shell used . it is totally useless . i have returned it to samco and if they refund my money or send me a properly repaired gun , i will note it here. any company can have a single bad product and for now that's how i will view this unless they treat me poorly from here on.

Picked up the shotgun...
Picked up the shotgun from the FLL location. Noticed the barrel ring had some blue gunk where it meets the barrel. I figured it was sticker residue or something. I got the gun home and was cleaning it. The gunk seems to be residue from welding. I am guessing the barrel ring was defective and repaired at some point. Their seems to be discoloration from heat also at that point. For a $200.00 shotgun I can deal with this if it holds up once the barrel is hot. If not it will be a simple inexpensive fix. The gun was even lighter in weight than I expected it to be. Compared the workmanship to my Rem 870 and it seems fine, although tolerances seem looser. Action is smooth, easy disassembly (very easy). Have not fired it yet, but cycled shells through it repeatedly with no problems. For occasional target shooting and occasion hunting it should be fine. Could find very little info on the manufacturer online. My third transaction with Bud's and as always it was a pleasure! Just got to talk the wife into letting me buy something else in a few months.
