This is my first lever action rifle and I love it. Purchased the .44 because, why not? I've been to the range a handful of times with this beast and It's a lot of fun to shoot. The look and feel of this firearm are top notch. I'm really glad I made this purchase.

Works as advertised…I like the feel

Henry Customer Service is second to none. Their 100% no questions asked lifetime satisfaction guarantee is amazing. The 20" octagonal barrels are heavy but they usually shoot very well. The fit and finish of a Henry is usually outstanding. Where I've run into problems occasionally with Henry is scratched rifling inside the muzzle, frame to bottom metal fitment can sometimes be under tension causing problems. Internal milling can be slightly off sometimes. I had one recently that trigger pull was over 8# out of the box but only 5# if the butt-stock was removed. Henry is also making its .357 magnum barrels only .354-.355" groove diameter instead of .357" in its Wisconsin factory which makes it a bit more challenging to find loads that group well in a pistol and rifle both when the bore dimensions are sometimes different by .003" or more. This particular NJ made rifle slugs at .357" tho, so the 9mm sized bores may be specific to the blued Henry's coming out of WI.

The ported barrel and length tames the 10mm. I like the grip and it's accurate. It has preformed flawless after about 50 rounds and a good cleaning. A few ftf during break in. Since then I have not had one problem. It's more accurate for me than my glock 40 and weighs less. It has become my new bear protection pistol.

Can not complain. It was able to get 2 inch and under groups at 300 yards with factory ammo after barrel break in. Out of the box accurate and very light weight. It shoots better than my begara hmr and a lot lighter. Recoil is none existent when paired with browning muzzle brake or a suppressor. The xbolt I do not think can be beat for the price and quality.

This is my first hand gun and also my first project play gun has well.it feels solid!. I just came back from the range today and no issues! Shot 115G,124G,147G bullet monster ate everything. I have to confess fellas.. I change the trigger to apex flat whit all the springs and abextended breakdown bar and added a mag well. I didn't like the original trigger n I never got to fired it so tbh you don't need to upgrade to all this it's still a great started gun!

Very fun pinker / range toy. about 220 rounds through so far no malfunctions added a folding brace looks great. included sights are plastic and budget but they were included free i added an old sightmark red dot and it runs great

This is exactly what I wanted. Don't overlook the 22 wmr from S & W this rifle has a ultra smooth lever action, very nice sights and very accurate right out of the box. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great lever action that's super fun to shoot.

the gun is light weight feels good on the swing,i did have a sticking trigger on ,mine-my son is a machinest,we took the trigger asy completly down and slightly filed down the trigger mech.reinstalled it no further problems yet.i use it for upland bird hunting.i ll give it 4 stars
