Sweet rifle ! Mounted a Sprinfield govt. model 6x40 scope designed for the .308 . Ran 60rnds through it with no issues. Added a bipod. At 100yds, the target in the background tells all. I actually called Greatlakes Firearms and thanked them for a quality American made rifle. Thanks again Bud's !

Purchased the Kimber micro 9, thanks Buds, always prompt service. Ran about 20rnds through it with no issues. Nice handgun ! So glad I pulled the trigger on this (pun intended). But ! ... the magazines are hard as hell to load. The springs are very strong, probably why Kimber's function so well. Fumbling around with live ammo is not my favorite task. I will research an easier way to load them. But all in all, for the price, Get one !

This is my third P226 X5 (Competition and SuperMatch). This one is very similar, but different in a few aspects. The comp is great, allowing for even less felt recoil. The finish and grip are amazing. Looks like Skunkworks meets the Matrix. Most importantly, the feel and mechanics are superior. Controls are super easy to operate. When I bought my first X5 in 2006, I could not understand why other manufacturers didn't use similar designs. In recent years, high-end makers are copying it, with 2011s; however, they are still far off from matching the P226 X5. Get one and you'll see what I mean. Z.
