Great pistol. I'm only in to it a couple hundred rounds but it has been 100% reliable. Love the ergonomics. My hands are not giant, but somewhat larger than average. I found that due to this pistol's thin grip it wanted to move in my hand as I pulled the trigger. Shot good groups, but all to the left (I'm right handed). I put a Hogue 18210 grip sleeve (the one for Glock 48) and it's a perfect fit. Really helped on the accuracy and how well it filled in my grip. I also put a Vortex Defender CCW micro green dot sight on it. I think this was the perfect sight because it allows me to co-witness with the X's factory sight but the factory sight post is not a distraction or "in the way" when I'm using the green dot. I bought this to replace my Sig P365 as my warm weather EDC. The 365 is just too small for my hands for me to be able to shoot accurately and the X is an improvement in that area. It's bigger than the 365 but still small enough I can comfortably conceal it. S&W has a Military and First Responders $50 rebate on this that ends 4/10/26 so if you are eligible for that and on the fence about this, you may want to snag it now.

What can I say??? It's a Colt! Pictures do not do it justice. It is a beautiful handgun with much attention to detail. Finish is outstanding! It's actually much nicer than I anticipated and will probably spend most of its time as a safe queen. Not that it's a bad thing. I changed to much nicer grips and it now presents as a true collectable.

This gun is absolute an eye catcher and definitely shows what modern craftsman ship and technology can achieve. I got this in the 6.5 creedmoor and it shoots just as good of groups as my bergara b-14 chambered in 6.5 creedmoor at 200 yards and it has a 10.5" barrel!!

This is a very smooth shooting gun and I was impressed with the close grouping's I was able to achieve shooting a big bore revolver of this caliber for the first time at twenty five yards. For someone looking to add a big caliber wheel gun to their collection I would highly recommend this one.

It's my favorite concealed carry pistol. It just barely fits in my front jeans pocket but doesn't print in my TacDefens Pocket Holster. The quality is great. It feels nice in my hand. It's a soft shooting pistol. I've shot 2 mags of hollow points with it so far with a hand that needs palm surgery and it recoiled mildly enough that it didn't bother my injury. I haven't missed a day carrying it since I bought it. This is the only pistol that I've owned that I can say that about.

Federal Premium Speer TNT Hollow Point. Add Henry lever gun. Mine likes these fast bullets. 1 to 1-1/2 inches at 50 yards. I'm sure that will come down when I get an optic on it.

My Winchester 94 shoots these PPU bullets just as good as any I've shot. (Had it for over 15 years) Under 2" at 75 yards makes me happy, and these get under 1.5" with no optics, just the stock Buckhorn sights. (Which I really like). I have PPU in 3 different calibers and all three shoot great. PLUS, you can't beat the price. What's not to like?
