This P320 Compact Manual Safety version is a soft shooting 9mm pistol. It's advertised as a Combat hold pistol meaning you will have to aim by putting the front dot covering the target area. The Sig sights were making me shoot 4 inches low at 10 yards So I replaced them with this $40 sight. AimSurplus Sig P320 Fiber Optic Standard Sights Item #: XAIMP320STDFIBER . Now this pistol is a Center Hold pistol. Point of Aim Point of Impact. Now I can aim at the middle of an apple at 10 yards and shoot the middle of the apple.

First of all this is a beautiful gun. (If your in to that kind of stuff.) Sometimes i just take it out and look at it. HaHa. Bolt is smooth. Stock is sleek. Vortex Viper HD. Warne Mounts and Rings. The barrel does have a built in rail type that could be used to mount rings. Sighted in with factory Hornady interlock 130 grain producing 1 inch groups in less than ideal settings. Im sure reloads and additional break in will tighten up the groups. I was looking for an all weather type gun that would shoot 270 win suppressed. Stainless threaded barrel 5/8 x 24 fit the bill. There is some POI shift suppressed. Overall this would make a solid addition to anyones gear. And Buds as always was there throughout the entire process.

I shoped for weeks to find the perfect first rifle for my eight year old grandson. I like the Henry a lot, but the Cricket was one of the smallest and lightest of all the choices and comes optics ready. I just gave it to him this weekend, and his First shots class is next weekend. Starting him off with gun safety and how to clean and care for his weapon before we hit the range. The stainless steel barrel really gives it the look of something more than a first weapon. I am thrilled with my choice.

Great value with this rifle...flawless function and accurate. And parts are very inexpensive on the Rossi website. I think the barrel is longer than it really needs to be...they should make this 18" and threaded.

This was a distributor special (shorter 16" threaded barrel and has a fiber-optic front sight). Beautiful rifle. The 92 pattern lever guns are light and compact, and very strong. My only complaint is that Rossi's laminated stocks (or Triple Black series stocks) have a LOP that is a little too long for my tastes. Very high quality, smooth lever gun.
