Being a CZ owner is like being the guy whose Wife lets him sleep with her hot friend. He tells his friends about, but no one believes, him and how good he's got it. But, other CZ owners know. Meanwhile, us CZ owners look for new variants of CZs to buy. Every once in a while we buy something else and try it out just so we can relive the joy of going back to our CZs. This CZ 75BD is an all around excellent gun. The marketing people who came up with idea of just lasering a logo and 50th on the side of the frame are unimaginative. Swing and a miss folks. They could have do so many things with this like; use the slide cuts of the SP-01, or create a hammer shape only used this year, or put on fiber optic sights. Come on CZ! Still, if you don't have one you are missing out!

I'd say this is a purpose built rifle. The action was buttery smooth right out of the box, and the sights line up naturally when you shoulder it. It is lighter than a steel frame rifle, and carrying it by the receiver afield is balanced, feeling natural. The rear stock has an angle to its side, but that makes it so the rifle settles comfortably under the cheek. Take down, requires no tools, is easy, allowing you to stow it a small space. My rifle favors Winchester Dynapoints which are accurate like a laser at 50 yards for me. In 22Mag it is very versatile.

Colt had a small grinding marks on slide. I had 5 minutes with some 600 grit sandpaper all the grind marks gone.

I had no idea I needed this so much. It saves my thumbs. I'll never be without one of these again. This is amazing. The only problem is I load way faster and can load way more so my ammo expenses have gone way up.

This worked perfectly in my shield plus. It's really nice to be able to carry this many rounds concealed. It does add some length to the grip which can hurt conceal ability but makes it really comfortable to hold.
