The CZ 75 BD 50th Anniversary is a full-size 9mm pistol built on the proven steel-frame CZ 75 platform. Its double-action and single-action operating system provides a smooth first trigger pull followed by a shorter, lighter single-action reset. The integral decocker supports safe hammer lowering without requiring a manual safety lever. A cold hammer forged steel barrel, fixed 3-dot sights, serrated steel slide, and durable Black Polycoat finish provide a practical combination of service-grade durability and traditional pistol ergonomics. The pistol includes two 16-round magazines for a total loaded capacity of 16+1.

Being a CZ owner is...
Being a CZ owner is like being the guy whose Wife lets him sleep with her hot friend. He tells his friends about, but no one believes, him and how good he's got it. But, other CZ owners know. Meanwhile, us CZ owners look for new variants of CZs to buy. Every once in a while we buy something else and try it out just so we can relive the joy of going back to our CZs. This CZ 75BD is an all around excellent gun. The marketing people who came up with idea of just lasering a logo and 50th on the side of the frame are unimaginative. Swing and a miss folks. They could have do so many things with this like; use the slide cuts of the SP-01, or create a hammer shape only used this year, or put on fiber optic sights. Come on CZ! Still, if you don't have one you are missing out!

All I can say is that...
All I can say is that the CZ 75 is just one fantastic firearm that I think next to the 1911 has been cloned the most. I really don't know why American Law Enforcement does not carry it. Extremely well proven in many Military circles. It feels exceptionally well in your hand and is very accurate. The gun is all steel so you have a very robust platform. I have nothing against polymer handguns but it is nice to shoot an all steel gun. Many years ago Jeff Cooper described this gun as the best 9MM service pistol and I can definitely see how he arrived at that conclusion.This is my fifth CZ offering so I'am a fan. I did not need another 9MM but when this 50 year anniversary came out I could not pass it up. Nothing but praise for CZ the company has really made a serious impression for duty and competition applications. You really can't go wrong with this purchase the gun will serve you well.
