Absolutely perfect. I finally decided to get one after years of pining after it. 100% reliable, fabulous trigger, excellent trigger, and so easy to clean and maintain. I use it for competition shooting and the upgrade really makes a difference.

I had originally bought one of these 2 years ago but sold it to a friend and immediately regretted it after. I had been waiting for them to go on a good sale again and so I waited and I'm glad I sold my original one now. Yesterday I went to pick up my new MK9 but was surprised with finding out I got the exact one that was used in a Hickok45 video. Never going to let this one go.

I haven't shot it yet. I purchased mainly for the nostalgia, not really a shooter. They did a pretty good job but a checkered slide stop would have been more period correct. Finish is even and free of machine marks. I really like the Turkish walnut grips tisas puts on their old style 1911s. They are a bit dry but they soak up gun oil and get a nice dark appearance.

Shoots very well! No where near as big as the ruger 5.7 and is way more comfortable to hold!

I sighted in my encore 18" carbine .243 barrel on July 4th yesterday, wow! They shoot great almost one ragged hole. I have 3 - .243 rifles, and around the foothills of North Carolina these bullets will be perfect, I've used Core - Lokt bullets before with good results, but have never used the tipped remington ammunition. But I'll find out this coming hunting season. Thanks remington for tipping your Core - Lokt bullets, the lead tips used to get banged up pretty bad, I guess that ends here. Mike Parker

Great trap gun for a reasonable price. The sight was already dialed in and ready to go out of the Box. The stock is a high quality Turkish walnut and it looks like a more expensive shotgun.

I haven't shot my new Howa yet but I did mount a scope and have spent a fair amount of time looking it over. It's a good deal, the quality and overall feel is good. Better than Savage, better than a Ruger American, not quite as good as a Winchester model 70. I'm excited to shoot it and see what the accuracy is like! My only regret so far is not getting one sooner!
