This is by no means a bad rifle but I believe there are better and cheaper options available. While both the description and picture show an enhanced tripper guard, I did not receive one. A hard trigger pull is to be expected in a mil-spec rifle, but this one has a fair amount of creep in it as well. Lastly, I'd like to know who decided not to pony up 4 extra dollars for a gen 3 mag. The gen 2 is still a great mag but for $700 I'd like the little extra value. The rifle shot well and is going to be accurate enough for me and 99% of shooters out there. My suggestion for anyone considering this rifle is to buy the DPMS Panther LCAR (Bud's currently has it for $450), buy the FDE stock, grip, trigger guard,and hand guard (around $75 on Bud's), and drop in a $100-$150 trigger. If you can put together IKEA furniture, you can do this. The Panther does not have a chrome lined barrel but it does have a chrome-moly vanadium nitrided barrel. This barrel should last almost as long as the chrome lined while being more accurate and more corrosion resistant. My point is; you'll likely end up with a rifle that looks as good while performing better for less money. Hope this helps.

The only thing good about this rifle is that it looks cool. This rifle is junk. It fails every time I take it shooting. It is the worst gun I have ever owned. I have never been more disappointed in a gun purchase than this one! Never again will I listen to the hype over the AR15 style rifles. You can not trust this rifle!

Outstanding service! My Bushmaster was packed up and delivered within 3 business days to my local FFL. Including all the extras that was promised as well. I'm already getting prepped to take it to the range & give her its first 1000 round break-in test. Everything was oiled up well, very clean and flawless condition. I'm gonna be running controlled chaos rounds initially to see how smooth the shot can be. Not to mention, the prices here at Buds are awesome and very competitive, which is why I'm gonna be a customer for good!

Fantastic rifle!!!!! I have taken this weapon out to the desert several times and have had not issues. I had one of these when I was in the army(COLT) and I really think the Bushmaster is on the same playing field (if not slightly ahead). The Magpul set is what really puts it over the top. It is so much lighter then the pictanny rail system and it just has a better look. If you want something that isn't going to break the bank yet be reliable and accurate, then this weapon is for you!!! Also BUDS is (IMHO) best dealer on internet!

I've owned a bushmaster before, and I can honestly say it's a great rifle! This will be my second AR I will own its en route can wait to have it come in so I can take down range and let some rounds through! I would recommend this gun to anyone! Thanks buds!!

It was either a Colt or the Bushmaster. The Bush won out because the MOE Magpul furniture really makes this gun look great. Looks and quality, what more can you expect.
