Hi Harley, there is no way to know the particular blemish on this specific gun. They are cosmetic imperfections. These products are in like-new condition with very minor blemishes. Most are barely noticeable, and many report the blemish cannot be seen unless thoroughly examined. This product has been factory reconditioned by Colt. This unit is no longer under warranty for anything cosmetic related. Stay safe & have a great day!
Good evening to you!! Factory blemishes are usually tooling marks that are hard to be seen via naked eye. Color not matching , polishing marks. They are usually so minut that you can't see them. Each firearm has its own blemishes so it's hard to tell what it is on this particular firearm. We are customers just like you and we don't have access to inventory. Hope this was helpful. Have a good rest of your day.
Are these Pythons 2 or 3 rib models?
Hi Harley and welcome. Most of these blems are tiny imperfections in the metal finish. These could be small spots of discoloration or dullness spots. According to reviews from other vendor websites, some owners are unable to find the blemish. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Well, I'm hoping whomever put this Listing up is using an "Actual" picture as this is an older model Python with the 2 opened ports on the Vented barrel. Most Blemishes won't even be noticed as they could be very minute. Anything from a slight cosmetic imperfection to a polishing mark variation .
