Hi David, They both have the 5.5 Bull Barrel. The Threaded one just makes it so you can add a Suppressor to it. Thats the only difference.

the only difference is that the 40126 has a threaded barrel. the reason to select it over the 40103 would be the ability to put a suppressor or other muzzle device on it. the threaded barrel may also slightly enhance resale value.

David, if you have no intentions of later adding a suppressor, other type muzzle device or selling the pistol, there is no benefit whatsoever. The added cost would be an un-necessary expense. If you do plan to do either of the above, it will be a Major benefit.
