No unfortunately you can't but I do believe there is a conversion kit for this model.

You cannot Adam since the diameters of the 9mm and .40 barrels are not the same (bushing is a fixed bushing and the upper barrel locking lugs would also be different ) in stock configuration. EFK Firedragon used to make a down conversion 9mm barrel but it is now discontinued. When the EFK Barrel was available, you just needed a lighter recoil spring and 9mm magazines. The slide for the 9mm and 40 cal are different. The 40 cal slide is bigger and has a full length guide rod. The 9mm has a shorty guide rod and a reduced width at the end. The 40 cal barrel is .550" dia. and the 9 is .500" dia. The 40 also has a different "kidney" where the barrel ramps for lockup. The only conversion would be the Kadet 22 cal conversion.

Hey Adam Unfortunately no. The .40 barrel would not drop into the 9mm slide. hope that helps!
