yes it will there is no difference between the "super Blackhawk" and the Blackhawk the light weight frame is the Ruger Vaquero To help clarify the reason behind the different names of the guns. Back in 1959, Ruger was producing the Blackhawks in 357 & 44 magnum. Well, it was decided to introduce a larger framed gun, in 44 magnum, and since they "beefed it up",, it was named the "Super Blackhawk." Then in 1962-1963, (transition period,) they dropped the midframed guns, and all the mainframes became the same size. That was the end of the original Flattop era. But the name stuck for the 44 magnum.
