Firearm is all colored plastic. Mossberg calls it blue. Barrel is matte black

Carlos, yes, it is a "Matte Black" Color. Most firearm are, Blue or Blueing is just an old terminology that is still in use today describing the finishing process and not the actual color.

I own this rifle and as everyone else is saying it is back although it may say "blued" the entire gun is black plastic except for the barrel which is "blued" which means black as well but the everything other than the barrel and is essentially plastic. When I purchased mine it came with iron sights as well as a red dot sight so make sure if you are looking at one that you keep an eye out for the one that comes with the red dot sight, great plinker!
