A: Carlos, yes, it is a "Matte Black" Color. Most firearm are, Blue or Blueing is just an old terminology that is still in use today describing the finishing process and not the actual color.

A: I own this rifle and as everyone else is saying it is back although it may say "blued" the entire gun is black plastic except for the barrel which is "blued" which means black as well but the everything other than the barrel and is essentially plastic. When I purchased mine it came with iron sights as well as a red dot sight so make sure if you are looking at one that you keep an eye out for the one that comes with the red dot sight, great plinker!

Rimfire caliber riflesare not considered "assault weapons" and can have features that centerfire rifles cannot." Other than the magazine, this rimfire rifle should ship to CA with no problem. If you want to order it, call Buds and see if they will remove the magazine and ship it without a magazine. I was told by a Buds Customer Service Rep they will do that. It would then be your job to locate a suitable magazine. They are available on Flea Bay, as well as other sources.
