Gregory, I would think not with the "Rotary Magazine design Sir. This rifle uses a detachable rotary magazine that mounts flush with the stock to eliminate protrusions at the rifle's balance point. I think it could be done but its much easier to just Remove and load the mag
Gregory - with the rotary magazine ... It would be one heck of a chore. It isn't mentioned anywhere in Ruger's literature that I could find, so I'm thinking it is not recommended by the manufacturer. Get yourself an extra mag, to have readily available anytime you're out using the rifle.
