Michael, the Glock 48 has a more supported barrel than the 43x. Fully supported is a misnomer as all Glock barrels have a ramp for reliable feeding. This is the reason that there are more supported aftermarket barrels available. Issues with Glocks were mostly 40 S&W and not so much for the 9mm's, 357Sig's and 45's.
