No reviewers to tell that story. But I assure Buds does NOT hand select (many have tried). You can refuse the transfer at your FFL if it does come with finish issues.

Yes, there have been many reported issues with fit and finish on the new 1911 R1 from Remington. Since Buds does not open new firearm packages, there is no guarantee of a clean finish. You can examine at your FFL for flaws and refuse transfer for a full refund from Buds if you encounter anything spotty.
