NO The shorter Cal will not headspace correctly in the longer 10 mm chamber and if you want to shoot both send it back to RIA and have them fit a 40 S&W barrel (need barrel and recoil spring) to your gun

German, You can. Try it out. I have shot 40 S&W successfully out of 3 different 10 mm semi-auto handguns I own no problem. I do it often.
