Fixed magazine just refers to any ammo feeding system/device that is not readily detachable/ removable. The tube mag on this shotgun is considered fixed. It is permitted to be owned by CT residents though because in order to be banned by CT law it has to have 2 banned features this only has 1. "Semi-automatic shotguns that have at least two of the following features: 1.Folding / telescoping stock 2.Pistol grip 3.Fixed magazine over 5 rounds 4.Ability to accept a detachable magazine"
