Hi Jeff, this does not have a front sight either, just a front sight base. Not sure why they did it like that.

Jeff, I've noticed alot of ARs with the a2 furniture do it this way, not sure why. Personally not fond of this design. If you ever want to add an optic you have to remove or cut the front sight post. As for a rear sight it's hard to beat Magpul mbus sights. Here's a link to one of interested.
