Its streamlined profile and polymer tip provide a high ballistic coefficient, while the bonded core promotes controlled expansion and retains approximately 90 to 95 percent of its original weight. Each cartridge uses a brass casing and produces a listed muzzle velocity of 3,000 feet / second with muzzle energy of 4,195 foot-pounds. Factory standard models do not include +P or other special pressure designations.
