Its 124-grain hollow point uses Hornady's no-clog Flex Tip design to initiate controlled expansion while the InterLock band helps keep the bullet and core together for consistent weight retention. The high-antimony lead core is engineered for toughness and controlled terminal performance. Nickel-plated brass cases resist corrosion, improve low-light chamber checks, and work with the crimped case to help prevent bullet setback. Factory-listed performance is 1,225 feet / second with 413 foot-pounds of energy from a 4-inch test barrel.
