HSM Subsonic 9mm ammunition uses a 180-grain hard cast lead long flat nose bullet with a Hi-Tek Supercoat for reliable feeding and reduced fouling. It produces a listed velocity of 1,026 feet / second from a 16-inch barrel and 945 feet / second from a 7-inch barrel. The 1.125-inch cartridge overall length is suitable for modern 9mm machine guns, semi-automatic pistols, and handguns.

I expect they will be...

I expect they will be as quiet if not quieter that other heavy for caliber 9mm subsonic. Because of the super heavy bullet, I do expect them not to cycle well but hey maybe my theory will be proven wrong. I did purchase these knowing that might be an issue so I don't hold it against the manufacture. I have nothing but good things to say and good experiences with HSM as an ammunition manufacturer.
