Remington Disintegrator .40 S&W ammunition uses a 125-grain lead-free, sintered jacketless frangible bullet engineered to break apart immediately upon impact. The design helps reduce ricochet potential, jacket fragments, and splashback toward the shooter. Each cartridge features a brass casing and Heavy Metal Free primer, making it a practical choice for range training and other applications where frangible ammunition is preferred. The standard-pressure load produces a muzzle velocity of 1200 feet / second and approximately 400 foot-pounds of muzzle energy from a test barrel. The box contains 50 rounds.
