The good: it's solid...
The good: it's solid and heavy. It bolts up securely and once installed stays on good with medium loctite on the threads. It looks great. \\r\ The bad: no pictures to assist the limited instructions. The instructions are generalized and will have you doing unnecessary steps. The rubber on the buttstock once removed, is very difficult to reseat into the grooves if not impossible. Once installed the stock has a little play in it and rattles in hand. Simple gorilla tape or flex tape ratifies this problem. Finally , the price for this is too high for molded plastic. \\r\ They are frustrating to be honest. My Mossberg is a 500 persuader and no need to remove the trigger assembly group when installing to which the instructions have some odd verbiage that have nothing to do with mine. Also is missing key steps that a novice would need to complete this install. \\r\ The insertion of the "flange" (actually a triangular guide can jam inside the shaft easily and so it did. \\r\ Once all was circumvented the will to add the side saddle was diminished. \\r\ It's an easier install if you ignore the strange instructions and use common sense. \\r\ After the fact it's solid and mitigates a decent amount of recoil , especially 3" double 8 and 1oz. Slugs.

Fits my Maverick 88...
Fits my Maverick 88 cruiser 12 gauge very very well. I only used the stock , but the shell holder seems to hold shells fairly snug for test fitting. Instructions are sub par but still doable.
