I got the Moxie just...
I got the Moxie just to see if it could handle the heat of 460 Rowland. I beefed it up with all the springs and internals, added a bushing comp. The trigger was great out of the box but ultimately I got her in the 2 lb sweet spot. With a 20lb recoil spring she ate 450 SMC 230 Grain Double Tap ammo all day long. Just make sure you put your right foot back a few inches. It is a great 1911. I really found no problems with it. The optic system is a pain since you have to order it separately but once you do, it has all the plates you need for any optic. That is nice. If I did it again I would get the commander. The polymer frame is plenty strong and is perfect for a ccw situation. Overall I think it's a great gun. I was pleasantly surprised. They did not sacrifice strength for weight at all.

Changed the grips as soon as i got it have had it for over three years many hundreds of rounds and is hands down my favorite gun never misfires maybe once ever even cheap russian ammo
