I purchased this...
I purchased this pistol on a whim after reading positive reviews and being a fan of the 1911 platform. First day at the range with 100 40 gr Mini Mags, and no issues what so ever. (FYI, I do take new firearms apart to clean and lube prior to use). Spot spot on at 25 yards, and a ton of fun to shoot. Switched from a target, after getting 1 1/2 inch groups at 25 yards to plinking steel with a smile on my face. Turned it into a 70 series with a cheap aftermarket spacer, and replaced the marginal guide rod with a nice longer aftermarket stainless piece. Total of $30 invested, and very smooth now. This is a blowback pistol being a 22, so barrel bushing and aluminum slide tightness is not an issue. The slide and bushing are just along for the ride as the barrel is fixed to the frame, and need to be loose. For 1911 fans it is a total blast to shoot, and it looks and feels like a for real pistol, and not a toy. I plan to remove the ambi safety with a regular one, and replace the grips with ones I have at some point. No plans to turn a nice $300 pistol into a $700 one with the many options available. Even the cheap original sights work great. If you buy one, have plenty of high velocity ammo because it is hard to stop shooting. Certainly no regrets so far.

Nice functional take...
Nice functional take on a 1911 in .22lr. My only real gripe is the slightly funky shape of the beaver tail. It doesn't affect function; just my aesthetic preference. I highly recommend picking up some extra mags and added-rounds followers. The mags are easy to modify, and the extra rounds mean fewer reloads on range day. And you will be running plenty of rounds through this fun plinker.

I love this gun, Most...
I love this gun, Most important I would buy it again! Pros: Feels good in your hand, it does not feel cheap The sights are accurate Great plinking gun Cheap to shoot So far takes cheap ammo Can't beat the recoil of a .22 cal Love the finish on it I would buy it again, in a few months I plan to get another one Cons: Comes with a cheap case The only thing that concerns me is what I saw on other youtube videos, the type of metal used on the slide where it locks breaks down over time and rounds the locking point. We will see in time the results, even if it does for Bud's price you can't go wrong!
