The American Tactical GSG 922 is a compact single-action .22 LR pistol with a familiar 1911-style layout. Its Zamak-5 zinc-alloy frame and slide are finished in black anodizing, while the black synthetic grips feature a double-diamond pattern for a secure hold. The 3.4-inch non-threaded barrel and 7-inch overall length make the pistol easy to handle, and the low-profile adjustable rear sight supports practical target alignment. An ambidextrous thumb safety and extended beavertail grip safety provide familiar control features. The integrated 2-inch low Picatinny rail accepts compatible accessories, and the pistol uses many standard M1911 parts.

Firearm functions fine...
Firearm functions fine with high velocity ammunition. Malfunctions occurred when using some regular velocity ammunition, and when the gun is dirty. The sights are plastic and rather poor quality. The fix sights hit high Overall, the gun feels good in the hand and is reasonably accurate. I have a laser light on the accessory rail and use the gun to shoot varmints at night on my property.
