The Archon Firearms Type B is a compact, striker-fired 9mm pistol built around the AF-Speedlock low-bore-axis barrel lockup for a different shooting feel. This Type B variant pairs the black nitride finish with night sights and a fiber optic front sight, plus the Type B’s feature-rich design from the factory, including the flat-faced short reset trigger, integrated rail and magwell, and the Grip Mapping texture engineered to reduce recoil rotation.

Awesome, awesome...
Awesome, awesome pistol! I wish the public would show it the love and recognition it deserves. Yes, it costs a bit more than the usual polymer gun offerings; but it is so worth it. It is an extremely flat shooting gun, without the need for gimmicks like ports or compensators, which rob you of velocity. The magazine capacity is low for a gun it's size; but the same can be said about my beloved 1911's and H&K's. I carried this gun for a year; and with the proper appendix carry holster, it concealed nicely, even in summer attire. This a great looking, well engineered, ergonomic, excellent shooting pistol; and I plan on buying a second one, whenever they are back in stock.
