Product Overview
The AREX REX ZERO 1T Tactical is a full-size 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for dependable service use and flexible carry configurations. Its hammer-fired single- and double-action system can be operated cocked and locked or safely decocked for double-action operation. An ambidextrous manual safety and magazine release support right- or left-handed users. The pistol features a hard-anodized T7075 aluminum frame, nitrocarburized steel slide, full-length slide rails, a Picatinny accessory rail, forward cocking serrations, and a loaded-chamber indicator. Its 4.9-inch cold hammer-forged barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and includes a thread protector. The REX Optics Ready slide accepts four included mounting interfaces for compatible Trijicon, C-More, Shield or JPoint, and EOTech, Vortex, Burris, Docter, Insight, or Meopta footprints. Raised high-profile white-dot steel sights provide a clear sight picture, while the 20-round magazine supports a 20+1 capacity.

I should have bought...
I should have bought this initially instead of the Sig P226 with the crappy Sig red dot. The thing eats batteries like Pac-man. I am very happy with the Arex. No, the Arex will not fit in a Sig P226 holster.

Wow, this is a SWEET...
Wow, this is a SWEET pistol. It looks good, has a great trigger (I measured it at 5.5# SA), and I get a lot of compliments at the range. I own about a dozen SIG P226/220 series pistols, and this one is certainly a clone-type. However it has several upgrades, including a manual safety and threaded barrel, plus a slide stop. The mag release and safety are both ambidextrous. The safety is easy to take off with a flick of the thumb, and has an audible and tactile "click", however putting the safety on is a conscious action and will NOT happen accidentally. I must say this was a well thought out feature. I put a Trijicon RMR red dot sight on it, and also some Talon grip tape, and overall I believe that this pistol is simply a terrific value. Feels great in the hand, is very accurate, and in my opinion is as quality-packed as any of my SIGs, at a much better price. The gray cerakote on the frame looks extremely good with the blue of the slide. I'm very impressed so far, and am very happy with my purchase. I will also add that even though it's a steel slide, and aluminum frame, it's as light as a Glock, and yet is clearly a much better pistol, in many ways.
