A: Gary, yes sir, this model is optics ready. Adapter plates can be purchased on Berettas website depending on Wich optic you want to use. Just Google "Beretta APX A1 Compact optic plate" to find plenty of options. Hope this helps.

A: So far it is still legal for handguns, just not rifles which have a 10 round max cap.
