The Beretta M9A3 Type G is a full-size 9mm double-action / single-action pistol built on the proven 92-series platform. Its Type G decocker-only configuration returns the pistol to double-action mode without engaging a manual safety. The alloy frame carries Vertec thin straight polymer grips for a slimmer, more ergonomic hold, while the 5-inch threaded barrel supports compatible suppressor or muzzle-device use. Tritium night sights provide a clear aiming reference in low-light conditions, and the three-slot MIL-STD-1913 rail accommodates lights and other accessories. With a 17+1 capacity, reversible oversized magazine catch, and durable Black finish, this Italian-made M9A3 is configured for duty, training, and defensive applications.

Recently, I purchased...
Recently, I purchased the Black Beretta M9A3, a gun I have lusted after since it first came out, from Bud's. Like my 92 FS, it has the smoothest slide action I have found in a stock handgun. I find it to be quite accurate as is the 92 FS. I like the weight of this pistol and the quality of the construction. The only thing I do not like, and this is a personal preference, not a flaw, are the night sights. I do all of my shooting at an indoor range, and I find them difficult to see in the low-light conditions there. I will replace them soon. Great gun and, as always, excellent service from Bud's.
