You could contact Buds directly and inquire if you want, pointing out their error. A: 1911 is the series model of the arm itself. As in mainly what you cosmetically see with your eyes. It is a GOV/FED arm that was commonly used in wars which is why the 1911 series is so popular. It is even used today as a side arm for basic military personal. The Gov 70 is a 45 ACP. Not a 9mm *hints the series 70 GOV model branded to its description.
