The Colt Competition Government Optic Ready is a full-size 1911 pistol built around a stainless steel frame, blued slide, and five-inch National Match barrel. Chambered in .45 ACP, it combines an eight-round single-stack magazine with a round in the chamber for an 8+1 capacity. Its optic-ready slide supports the addition of a compatible red dot sight, while the Novak red fiber optic front sight provides a bright aiming reference for fast target acquisition. Checkered G10 grips, 25 lines-per-inch front strap and mainspring housing checkering, a three-hole aluminum trigger, and a dual recoil spring system support confident handling and consistent operation. The pistol includes both a manual thumb safety and a grip safety.

Excellent 1911....
