Description
Product Overview
The Colt 1911 Gold Cup Trophy is a competition-focused .45 ACP pistol that combines the proven Government-size 1911 platform with factory optics compatibility. Its stainless construction, fitted National Match barrel, and Colt blue G10 grips provide a stable foundation for precise shooting. The optics-ready slide includes a factory-installed optics plate and G-Style serrated rear sight, allowing the addition of a compatible reflex sight while retaining a practical iron-sight setup. An upswept beavertail grip safety, undercut trigger guard, and 25 lines-per-inch checkering on the front and rear straps improve control during extended practice and competition use. The Series 70 firing system and Dual Spring Recoil System support a crisp trigger feel and reduced muzzle movement. The package also includes a lightened recoil spring, barrel bushing wrench, and one-piece extended magwell.
