Description
Product Overview
The Colt Combat Elite Optics-Ready 1911 brings the established Combat Elite platform into a modern defensive and competition configuration. Its stainless steel frame and black over stainless two-tone PVD finish provide a distinctive appearance with strong corrosion resistance. The 5 inch National Match stainless steel barrel is built for consistent accuracy, while the optics-ready slide and mounting plate allow the addition of a compatible red dot sight without giving up the factory backup sighting system. A tritium front night sight and G-Style black serrated rear sight support reliable aiming in low-light conditions. The dual spring recoil system helps manage recoil and extends recoil spring service life. Ambidextrous controls, an upswept beavertail grip safety, and checkered scalloped G10 grips provide secure handling and practical ergonomics.
