Description
Product Overview
The Colt Defender is a compact 1911 pistol designed for personal protection and everyday carry. Its lightweight aluminum frame helps reduce carry weight, while the blued carbon steel slide and 3-inch barrel provide the familiar handling of a shortened 1911 platform. Novak fixed sights support practical target acquisition, and the tactile half-checkered G10 grips provide a secure hold. An upswept beavertail grip safety enhances shooting comfort and helps manage recoil during extended practice sessions.

As expected tight and smooth right out of the box. Tore down, cleaned and lubed and proceeded to run the first hundred with no problems or malfunctions. Sights were on from the factory. No adjustments needed. Exceeded my expectations.
