The CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready is a competition-focused 9mm pistol built around a durable steel frame and a cold hammer forged barrel measuring 4.89 inches. Its single-action/double-action trigger system, ambidextrous manual safety, and balanced 46.5-ounce construction provide a stable platform for controlled fire. Fiber optic front and HAJO rear sights support fast target acquisition, while the optic-ready slide allows the addition of a compatible reflex sight. The pistol accepts 19-round magazines and includes three magazines from the factory.

I've put roughly 1,000...
I've put roughly 1,000 rounds through my CZ Shadow 2 Optics Ready, and it has been outstanding. Reliability has been flawless with zero malfunctions, and the accuracy is better than I am. The ergonomics are excellent, the weight keeps recoil incredibly flat, and the trigger was very good from the factory and has continued to smooth out with use. I primarily use this pistol for competition, USPSA, and Steel Challenge matches. The gun points naturally and transitions smoothly between targets. I have recently installed a few Cajun Gun Works upgrades, including the Reach Reduction Kit, which made an already excellent trigger even better, especially in double action. However, even before the upgrades, the Shadow 2 was an exceptional pistol If you are looking for a competition-ready handgun with incredible accuracy, soft recoil, and outstanding build quality, I highly recommend the CZ Shadow 2. I would absolutely buy it again.
