The CZ-USA CZ 75 BD is an all-steel 9mm semi-automatic pistol designed for dependable service use and controlled recoil. Its slide-in-frame design lowers the bore axis and contributes to smooth handling, while the hammer-forged barrel supports consistent accuracy. The double-action and single-action trigger system combines a longer first pull with a crisp single-action follow-up. A left-side decocker safely lowers the hammer for loaded-chamber hammer-down carry, while the firing pin block and loaded chamber indicator provide additional safety features. Fixed 3-dot sights, ergonomic polymer grips, a lanyard loop, and a 16+1 capacity complete this practical duty and range pistol.

This is my fifth CZ, and I wish I had gotten it first. There is a saying: "the only people who don't have a CZ are the ones who haven't shot one". If you have, you don't need to read this review. If you haven't, you need to. These are spectacular guns, head and shoulders above anything costing less than $1000. This one, the CZ-75, is the flagship model, and has spawned dozens of imitators. They do now have some high-priced models that are frequently used in competition (Shadow), but the 75 has been a premier police model worldwide for decades. You have to experience a CZ trigger. On a slightly negative note, I find the combat sights a little small for my eyes, so I replaced them with larger white dots in rear, and fiber optic in front; parts from the CZ Custom Shop.
