The Dan Wesson ECP is a compact 1911-style semi-automatic pistol designed for concealed carry. Its four-inch flush-cut bull barrel is match grade and features a 30-degree crown, while the flat-wire recoil spring system is engineered for extended service life. A stainless steel slide paired with a forged aluminum frame keeps the pistol's weight to 29 ounces. Tapered G10 grips and a bobbed mainspring housing improve handling for shooters with smaller hands. The tri-topped slide includes aggressive side serrations and a glare-reducing top rib, complemented by a U-notch rear sight and brass-beaded front sight.

I own quite a few...
I own quite a few 1911s in both 9mm and 45 calibers from various manufactures, and this is my second one made by Dan Wesson. \\r\ \\r\ My Dan Wesson ones are the smoothest, by far. They are very accurate, very comfortable in the hand, and there's nothing bad I can say about them. This particular one has the advantage of a slightly shorter barrel and is lighter than most, which make it a perfect EDC gun. The added capacity of 9 1 of this 9mm is the cherry on top. You really can't go wrong with Dan Wesson, and this ECP is a delight. I have only put less then 100 rounds through it, thus far, but I can already tell it is smooth and extremely accurate.\\r\

This was my first time...
