The Dan Wesson Specialist is a duty-configured 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Its Commander-size design pairs a 4.25-inch forged stainless steel barrel with a forged stainless steel slide and frame for a durable, balanced platform suited to defensive use and range shooting. Tritium night sights provide a visible aiming reference in low-light conditions, while the integral 1913 Picatinny rail supports compatible accessories. An ambidextrous thumb safety, extended magazine release, beavertail grip safety, and undercut trigger guard support confident handling. The two-piece magwell and G10 VZ Operator II grips improve reloads and help maintain a secure firing grip. The pistol ships with two eight-round magazines.
