The Ed Brown EVO KC9-VTX is a handbuilt single-stack 1911-style pistol chambered in 9mm and configured with a compact 4-inch bull barrel. Its thinned slide uses a distinctive 7-top custom cut with front and rear serrations, while the external extractor, recessed slide stop, flush barrel, and recessed crown add modern refinements to the classic platform. The bobtail frame features exclusive Snakeskin treatment on the forestrap and bobtail housing. A factory-installed 6 MOA Vortex Venom red dot sight supports rapid target acquisition and a precise point of aim. The KC9 retains familiar 1911 controls and handling, complemented by a guide rod and flat wire recoil spring system.
