Yesterday was...
Yesterday was Christmas in September! Thanks to Bud's Lay-Away and super fast shipping, I received my first Ed Brown 1911. I was worried about the purchased and saying to myself (This is a lot of money I hope this gun functions properly). The Kobra Carry I received had different opinions then what is described. To my surprise it had the blacked out rear sight and the fiber optic front, Freckin awesome!! I took it home and took it apart, I wiped the factory oil off and put some Wilson Combat lube on the rails. Shot 200 Remington 230 grain and the shots were really low at 25 yards, I then shot 200 federal same grain and the gun was spot on and cycled all 400 rounds perfectly. Awesome gun handles recoil very well for a light weight 1911. The low weight makes it very comfortable for concealed carry. I have no regrets about this purchase. Very well made firearm.
